MERS-CoV by month since 2012...

A look at the weekly case tallies for MERS-CoV since 2012.

Again, we must allow for the case numbers to settle out, but for now, and as I write this, April has been the biggest month of MERS-CoV case announcements to date. And we're only half way through.

Its interesting to note that in 2013 case numbers were quiet in the first few months then spike up. 2014 started higher than 2013 (note the y-axis/left hand scales of these 3 graphs are identical for ease of comparison between years) and it is beginning to look like MERS-CoV case numbers increase each year.
